Ben Higl

 

Ben Higl has served as the Chief Financial Officer at Progressive Foam Technologies, Inc. since joining the company in early 2005. In addition to handling all accounting and financial aspects of the business, he is also in charge of Human Resources, Information Technology, and Supply Chain Management, including inventory control, purchasing and logistics.

After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Baldwin-Wallace College in 1989, Ben became a certified public accountant in 1991. He brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management to Progressive Foam. Ben’s past work experience includes Senior Auditor at Ernst and Young (1989-1991), Plant Controller, Senior Accountant and Corporate Auditor at Rubbermaid Corporation (1991-1995), Corporate Controller at Alpha Enterprises (1995-1999) and Vice President of Finance at Nexpak (1995-2005).

Ben has been a member of Progressive Foam’s Strategic Planning Team for five years. He is currently a member of the Vistage Key Executive Group as well as the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Ben has been married for 22 years and has three children, ages 21, 18 and 13. He is a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church and is heavily involved with coaching young athletes in his community.
