Manufacturing Fullback®FC siding insulation includes a combination of heat and pressure, utilizing clean technologies that minimize energy and water used through closed-loop energy recycling. No solid waste is created in the production of our expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation products, and no waste that we generate goes to the landfill. During our production process, all waste is fully recaptured and re-purposed.
Progressive Foam is committed to the responsible management of all water, electricity and any other resources involved throughout our manufacturing process. We work continually to improve our efficiencies and reduce our corporate carbon footprint. This not only helps us make a greener product, but it also ensures the long-term sustainability of our company and the environment.
In November 2011 Progressive Foam was named a Certified FirstEnergy Efficiency Customer in recognition of our valued participation and for committing to energy efficiency and peak demand reduction projects to FirstEnergy's energy efficiency compliance program.
