Take two foam coffee cups and place them over your ears while listening to the radio. You will immediately notice that the very thin pieces of foam (about 1/16" thick) will dramatically dampen the sound. Now imagine placing 1" thick Fullback®S on the outside of your home. It is easy to see how this insulation can dampen exterior noises, which is great for any number of outdoor sounds: lawn mowers, a noisy highway, barking dogs, airport traffic, late night sirens, train tracks, and more! |
