Pat Culpepper - President

Patrick M. Culpepper has been president of Progressive Foam Technologies since 1992. In this role, he is responsible for managing all aspects of the company with an emphasis on strategic direction, product and process development, marketing and relationship building with key customers and vendors.

Pat has been involved with the foam business since 1973 when he began working at Expanded Plastics, Inc. in Fenton, MI.

He championed the acceptance of expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam as a thermal support for vinyl siding and launched a new brand: The Fullback® Thermal Support System.

The Fullback Thermal Support is a structural insulation backer that fits behind and fully supports the contour of any siding panel.

Fullback promises energy efficiency, no denting, sagging or warping and does not contribute to mold growth.

Pat is active in trade associations, serving as president of the EPS Molders Association (EPSEMA) and is a member of The Executive Committee (TEC), an organization that develops leadership skills.

Pat and his wife, Robin, have three children, Ryan, Jason and Melinda. They live in Canton, OH.

Richard C. Wilson - Executive Vice President

Richard Wilson, one of the original founders of Progressive Foam Technologies, is executive vice president.  Wilson has been with the company since 1992 and is responsible for business administration, product development and OEM sales.

Before founding Progressive Foam, Wilson was vice president of sales at Expanded Plastics in Fenton, MI, and plant manager with Modern Materials in Detroit, MI. 

While at Progressive Foam, Wilson assisted in the introduction of contoured expanded polystyrene (EPS) foam backing products to the siding industry, as well as patented Progressive Foam’s laminated foam backer and EasyPost® products.  He also helped develop and introduce foam-backed insulated vinyl siding nationally.

Wilson is a member of the Vinyl Siding Institute (VSI) in Washington, D.C., and resides in Traverse City, MI.

Steve Barron - National Sales Manager

Steve Barron is the national sales manager for Progressive Foam Technologies, a position he has held since January 2001. 

Barron’s responsibilities include overseeing the Progressive Foam sales team as well as monitoring trends in the home improvement market.

Barron has been involved in the construction industry throughout his life.  In 1991, he received his general contractor’s license from the State of California and worked for an insurance restoration company.  He then moved to selling home improvements for K Designers in northern California.  In 1997 Barron started his own home improvement company in Cedar Rapids, IA.  While there, he sold and installed windows and vinyl siding with Progressive Foam’s contoured insulation, ThermoWall®.

After a competing business purchased his company in 1999, Barron joined Progressive Foam Technologies. 

Steve and his wife Debby have four children, Heather, Amy, Holly and Andy.  They live in Uniontown, OH.

Raymond C. Kendall - General Manager, Progressive Foam Technologies

Raymond Kendall is the general manager of Progressive Foam Technologies, a position he has held since June 1998.

Kendall is responsible for the overall management of the company and also serves as the sales leader for two of Progressive’s key OEM customers.  He joined Progressive Foam from Rodgers-Wade in Paro, TX where he served as general manager.  Prior to that, Kendall was materials and manufacturing manager and plant manager at Marlite.  He also served as plant manager of Leggett and Platt in Springfield, Mo.

Kendall was an integral part of the Progressive Foam team that launched Fullback insulated siding.  He was involved in various aspects of the process, including the startup of a second facility, growing the leadership team and the total re-organization of the management team.

Kendall received his bachelor of science degree in business management from Southeast Missouri State University.  He and his wife Teresa reside in Dover, OH.
