5. What is the difference between drop-in and factory-applied Fullback®?

Two types of Fullback® siding insulation are available today. One is a factory-applied product that comes with the insulating foam backer laminated to the siding panel. The other is a field-applied, drop-in insulation product that is matched to the homeowner's choice of siding at the job site. 7. How much does Fullback® siding insulation cost?

8. Does the insulating foam backer absorb moisture?

No, it does not. Fullback® siding insulation is made of expanded polystyrene (EPS), which has a permeability rating of 5.0. EPS is breathable and allows water vapor to escape your home, while protecting it from bulk water from the outside. 9. Is it necessary to use a house wrap when having Fullback® siding insulation installed?

You may or may not need to use a house wrap, depending on how you plan to have Fullback® siding insulation installed. We recommend that you refer to your siding manfacturer's instructions when determining if house wrap is necessary. You can also consult your builder, remodeler or architect for a recommendation specific to your situation.

10. How does Fullback® siding insulation help to reduce infestation?

Fullback® siding insulation is treated with PREVENTOL®TM EPS, a systemic insecticide which protects the foam from termite damage. The active ingredient in PREVENTOL®TM EPS is used at low concentrations and is safe for installers and homeowners. 11. Will Fullback® Insulated Siding make my home quieter?
