An average household produces 4-6 gallons of water vapor inside daily. HalfbackH20 features a perm rating up to 3.5, allowing moisture to escape the home. This reduces the chance of mold and mildew growth, creating a healthier home and longer lasting siding.

Moisture Management

Halfback H20 is made with StayDry Technology®, a proprietary manufacturing process that makes the insulation 3x more breathable than comparable products. With a perm rating of up to 4.6, it helps protect the home from potential moisture damage, letting water vapor generated inside the home escape.

Proven Energy Efficiency

Continuous Insulation powered by GPS (Graphite Polystyrene) Foam. Holds its R-Value: After extreme environmental testing, held its R-value in conditions that involved both constant thermal gradient and cycling between large temperature and humidity variations.

 

Termite Resistant

Protected from insect degradation with a specially formulated insect inhibitor that’s safe for humans and pets.

Halfback H20 is adaptable in size, thickness, shape and density, providing maximum flexibility and durability.

Fire Performance

Halfback H20 is formulated with specially modified materials that are manufactured with a flame retardant (ASTM E84/UL 723).

Halfback H2O siding insulation is available in both white expanded polystyrene (EPS) and graphite polystyrene (GPS). GPS provides up to 20% more insulating value than standard EPS, allowing for more energy savings with the same amount of material.
