In November 2011 Progressive Foam was named a Certified FirstEnergy Efficiency Customer in recognition of our valued participation and for committing to energy efficiency and peak demand reduction projects to FirstEnergy's energy efficiency compliance program.
Our environmentally friendly siding insulation materials are made utilizing expanded polystyrene (EPS) manufacturing which includes a combination of heat and pressure, utilizing clean technologies that minimize energy and water inputs used through closed loop energy recycling. No solid waste is created in production, and no generated waste goes to the landfill. During the production of EPS, all waste is fully capture and re-purposed.
